Here is an opportunity to own a unique beauty, this boat is a 1953 Chris Craft Sportsman 17'. It is model KBL with 131 hp. From 1953-1959 there were 2563 hulls built, this is no. 378 in that series. She was built in Cadillac, Michigan and delivered to Ohio in July 1953. This boat comes with a trailer. This is a single axle trailer that appears to be in good condition. The hull of this boat appears to be in very good condition, as does the interior. All gauges are there and appear to be in working condition. This boat has always been a freshwater boat and the engine was professionally rebuilt in 1985, and during this time the rest of the boat was restored. The bottom is a 5200- no soak bottom which was installed in 2007. After restoration was completed it was put into storage for a decade and most recently used the summer of 2019. She came to Kentucky from North Salem, NY where she lost a few of her cushions during the drive. We are currently building new cushions and will let the new owner decide if they want to match the existing non-authentic cushions or have authentic red tolex cushions covered. We are also creating a custom Rayco gas tank for this beauty.
